Wolf Dual Fuel Range Infrared Griddle Recall 2025 | CPSC

Wolf Dual Fuel Range recall 2025 — Wolf Appliance Inc. of Madison, Wisconsin and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall in January 2025 covering approximately 44,000 Wolf Dual Fuel Ranges with Infrared Griddles. The range can short-circuit if liquids boil over or are spilled and turn on the griddle unexpectedly, posing a burn and fire hazard to consumers.

Hazard

Liquids spilled or boiled over onto the range can cause an electrical short circuit that unexpectedly activates the infrared griddle element. The griddle can reach cooking temperature without any operator command, creating a burn hazard for anyone touching the surface and a fire hazard from any nearby combustible materials. Wolf received 36 reports in the United States and Canada of griddles turning on unexpectedly prior to the recall. No injuries had been reported at the time of the announcement.
