Wolf cooking appliances are engineered to deliver consistent performance for decades. Preventive maintenance is how that promise becomes reality — catching wear, calibrating sensors, and keeping gas and electrical components operating within specification before a small issue becomes a service call.

What Wolf Maintenance Covers

A scheduled maintenance visit follows a platform-specific checklist for each Wolf appliance you own. On a Dual Fuel Range we verify temperature calibration, inspect the cooling fan and apparency switch, and clean the surface burner assemblies. On a Sealed Burner Rangetop we test the spark module, inspect every electrode, and clear the burner ports. On a CI Induction Cooktop we clean the control area sensing zone and verify LIN bus communication. On M Series wall ovens we check every relay position and confirm the MDL circuits are operating within spec.

Range Hood Maintenance

Wolf range hoods require the most frequent maintenance because grease accumulation affects both airflow and fire safety. Our maintenance visit cleans the aluminum mesh filters in a degreaser bath, inspects the blower wheel and housing for buildup, confirms the speed control is responding correctly, and resets the FG (100-hour) and FC (30-hour) filter reminders.

Gas Appliance Safety Checks

Every gas appliance — range, rangetop, cooktop, or oven — gets a manifold pressure check with a calibrated manometer, a visual inspection of every gas connection, and a verification that combustion is clean (blue flame, no yellow tips). Gas leak detection is performed on every fitting.

Maintenance Schedule Recommendations

  • Ranges and Rangetops: annual maintenance visit
  • Wall Ovens: annual visit, or after 500 cumulative cooking hours
  • Cooktops: every 12-18 months for induction, annually for gas
  • Microwaves: every 18-24 months
  • Range Hoods: every 6 months for heavy users, annually for light users

Transparent Pricing

Single-appliance maintenance visits start from $145. Multi-appliance whole-kitchen visits are discounted. Annual service contracts are available for households with multiple Wolf appliances.
