What Professional Wolf Installation Covers
- Pre-installation site survey to verify clearances to combustibles, floor protection, and cabinet dimensions
- Gas connection with dedicated shutoff, approved flex connector, and manifold pressure verification
- 240-volt electrical connection with proper wire gauge, breaker size, and ground verification
- Wolf commissioning: first-cook verification, calibration check, and safety interlock testing
- Range hood configuration for vented or recirculating operation per your home setup
- Gas type conversion using Wolf-supplied orifice kits where the home gas type differs from the factory setting
Why Wolf Installations Differ From Other Brands
Wolf Legacy and current Dual Fuel Ranges draw significant power and require a dedicated 40-amp circuit. Sealed Burner Rangetops need the correct gas pressure regulated to Wolf's specification, not just "gas pressure." CI Induction Cooktops require a home electrical system that can deliver clean 240V without sag during peak draw — marginal homes sometimes need electrical service upgrades before the cooktop can operate to specification. We check all of these factors during the pre-installation survey.
Gas Type Conversion
Wolf ranges, rangetops, and gas cooktops ship configured for one gas type. If your home uses the other type, a Wolf-supplied conversion kit must be installed — incorrect gas configuration produces yellow flames, incomplete combustion, and CO risk. Conversion is a technician-only procedure and is part of our installation service when needed.
Transparent Pricing
Installation pricing depends on the appliance and the site conditions. Single-appliance installation starts from $285. Whole-kitchen Wolf installation packages are available with multi-appliance discounts.
